Good Afternoon Shantanu,

Thank you for providing your reflections with the Standards Office. I will make sure that your information is added to your Appeal file.

Appeals sitting with the EAP can take upwards of three months to be considered. However, given your passion for joining the Party, I have escalated this as much as I can and requested an urgent response to be provided to you. You will be updated as soon as the Standards Office is provided with a copy of the decision relating to your appeal.

Kind regards,

Beth

With reference to your confirmation of my appeal to the English Appeal Panel as attached: FrStandardsOfficerLiberalDemocrats(EnglishAppealPanelCaseNo30AllocationConfirmed)29Apr2024; this email is just to clarify that I am definitely not a member of the Labour Party or the Reform UK Party and as you may already know I am not a member of the Conservative and Unionist Party or the Green Party. Furthermore, do not intend to join any Party other then the Liberal Democrats.

I have a website where I promote an idea that I developed, namely 'The Conservative Libertarian Society, a middle of the road concept between the left and right. The EAP may consider it important to get to know what the Society Represents at https://theconservativelibertariansociety.com. I am the sole member currently although some people do post materials in the website.

I look forward to your next communication on the Appeal in place as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely
