A 1954 brutal murder involving sexual assault of a young female, at an isolated house between Bradford and Leeds, to this day remains unsolved.

Your mother too was a victim, driven to suicide and attempted murder at the same time by the wicked deeds of Gopinath, and to keep your younger sister safe from his predatory activities.

Your unfortunate brother inherited his father's insanity, though not his evil.

The late respected Prof Praharaj's greatest and unforgivable error of judgement was permitting the marriage of his French daughter to you, the worst of the Panigrahis, on the strength of Gopinath's

persuasiveness.

Will the pattern of Panigrahi madness, present in the next generation too, be continued into the unborn one, or will the cycle be broken?
