Dear Invicta Law

I am sorry that I was being presumptuous that Invicta Law was one of three Law Firms who the Law Society informed me as possibilities for employing to advise and represent me when I sent the attached correspondence to the Independent Office for Police Conduct: ToIOPCccInvictaLaw(Apologise) 17 Aug2023.docx. The Law Society were wrong to not have checked with your details in this regard before sending me the information.

That leaves me RKB Legal Services and Quiggs Golden Solicitors Limited to contact me with their positions one way or the other. I will wait for their replies to this email or telephone calls until 6.00 pm today at the very latest before searching the Law Society website directly without going through the support centre of the Law Society.

Sorry once again.

Yours sincerely

Dr Shantanu Panigrahi

Dear Dr Panigrahi,

Thank you for your email received at 06:18 this morning. Unfortunately Invicta Law does not act for private individuals, so we will not be able to assist you in this matter. Please refer back to the Law Society website to source alternative representation.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Dear Sirs

I take great exception to receiving a formal warning from the IOPC because each and every emailed communication that I sent the IOPC was part and parcel of formal and legitimate legal proceedings in my attempts to attain justice for myself.

Please apologise immediately as my Solicitors : INVICTA LAW LIMITED, 1 Abbey Wood Road, Kings Hill West Malling, Kent ME19 4YT info@invicta.law is dealing with this harassment and terrorism by the IOPC on me.

Yours sincerely

Dear Dr Shantanu Panigrahi

We are writing further to your recent emails which you have sent to the IOPC.

It is noted that many of the emails you copy to the IOPC are regarding matters that do not fall under our remit and are matters we have previously advised you on. To clarify, the IOPC is solely responsible for overseeing the formal Police Complaints process in England and Wales. We have no remit over issues that lie outside of this process.

The IOPC considers the volume of your copied correspondence to be excessive. If you continue to copy us into emails which do not require any action from the IOPC, we will consider restricting your email contact with us. This is not something we want to do but it is now taking a significant amount of time to file your correspondence which does not require a response from the IOPC.

Please consider this email as your first formal warning regarding your excessive correspondence.

If you wish to make a complaint about the Police, please do so by using the following weblink; Submit a complaint | Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC)

Kind regards

Thank you for contacting the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC). We are receiving a high number of enquiries and we will respond to your email within 10 working days. In the meantime, you may find the information below useful.

How to make a complaint

The quickest and easiest way to submit a complaint is via our online complaint form. We will send your complaint directly to the police force involved. The Professional Standards Department (PSD) for the police force will usually respond to your complaint within 15 working days.

Concerns with an ongoing complaint investigation

The IOPC has limited involvement in ongoing complaints handled by the police force’s PSD. If you have an ongoing complaint being handled by the PSD and want to ask for an update, or express any concerns or criticisms, you should contact the PSD directly. Please telephone 101 for the PSD contact details.

The outcome of your complaint and right of review

If you received an outcome letter for your complaint, it may offer you the right to ask for a review. A review can only be considered by the relevant review body. Your outcome letter should name the relevant review body and tell you where to send a request for review. Please ensure any request for review is sent as soon as possible and before the deadline stated in the outcome letter.

Reporting a crime

If you wish to report a crime, you must report it directly to the police. If you fear for your safety or are in immediate danger you should ring 999.

If your email falls into one of the categories above or you have copied the IOPC into your email, you may not receive a response. However, if you have any more questions please contact 0300 020 0096.
