Dear Dr Panigrahi

Thank you for copying me into your recent email of 29th September to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman and your further email of 4th October 2022.

As your email was addressed to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman and it is with regards to submitting a case for their attention then you should consult their website on the information that they require in order to proceed and provide this to them in the format of an application form. Their website can be found here: https://www.ombudsman.org.uk/

I should further advise you that applications to the PHSO with regard to the National Health Service are made directly to the PHSO and not via the referral of a Member of Parliament, this application would be for you to submit directly.

With regards to the email that you sent the Parliamentary authorities last week with reference to your legal actions with regard to Kent Police, as a Member of Parliament I am unable to intervene in legal matters and cannot provide legal advice.

I would therefore suggest that you may wish to seek legal advice from a practicing legal professional if you have not already done so, or from an advocacy service such as the Citizens Advice Bureau who can offer legal advice and can be reached on 01634 383760.

Yours sincerely

(Signed)

Rehman Chishti MP
