Subject: Professional ethics of Law Firms (Claim J00ME372)
To
Solicitors Regulation Authority
Thank you for your email yesterday evening as attached: FrSolicitorsRegulationAuthority(REComplaintsagainstBLMlaw)26May2022 concerning our previous communications of the past week or so through which I submitted various pieces of evidence to highlight that the ethics displayed by the Firm needs to be supervised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. This concerns the way the Firm is dancing around the Injunction Claim n16a-enginjunctionagainstKentPolice20Apr2022.pdf with its associated Money Claim (n1-eng KentPolice UpdateMay2022.pdf.
Specifically, I am deeply concerned about the manner in which Kent Police or the Chief Constable of Kent Police is handling the Injunction Application through its Civil Claims Department and then through BLM Law, and then intervening through the Professional Standards Department as attached:FrOperationalManagerPSDKentPolice26May2022.docx; Particulars of Damages and Compensation (Claim J00ME372).pdf.
If BLM law is certainly instructed by the Chief Constable of Kent Police or Kent Police and I have demanded proof of this by way of letters exchanged between the two parties, I should be entitled to such documentation so that I know who to deal with.
As things stand Gary Seamark DS 46011285 of Kent Police did not contact me yesterday as I asked the Operational Manager of Complaints PSD to expedite ahead of the Defence Document to the Injunction and Money Claim applications on which the deadline is 13 June 2022 because Acknowledgement was filed on 19 May 2022 and the Court therefore requires the final defence from BLM law to be filed within 28 days of the date of Service of the Notice of Issue (16 May 2022). All outstanding Kent Police investigations on my interrogation and subsequent arrest needs to be completed before BLM law files this Defence to the Court. Neither BLM law nor the Civil Claims Department of Kent Police is informing me as to its intentions with regards to the legal proceedings under Claim J00ME372.
You said that if I copy emails to multiple recipients you will only respond with an acknowledgement. This is why I am writing to you directly concerning the Professional ethics under which Law Firms operate citing the abysmal manner in which these proceedings are continuing.
I hope to receive the report of the Solicitors Regulation Authority before 13 June 2022, so that I know whether to dispute the Defence that is inevitably going to be submitted by the Defendant to the Medway County Court.
Yours sincerely
Dr Shantanu Panigrahi
