Dear Shantanu,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I have been away on annual leave.

Having considered the email sent to myself via trac on the 5th June 2023 at 13:33 and the email below, we are not able to offer you another interview as you did not meet the required threshold for appointment. Your interview was conducted by two trained, and experienced assessors and was moderated by an independent person whose scores were in line with the assessors scoring.

During the interview, we did not get specific examples where you met the competency for example you were asked the following question for the communication section of the interview.

Can you give us an example of a time you have needed to adapt your communication over the phone, in order to get your message across clearly. How did you adapt your communication to make sure it was understood?

The example given detailed working with project managers, ensuring that interpreters were on hand and communication was clear. This provided no evidence of how you adapted your communication to ensure that the message was understood, only the use of interpreters and clear communication. You did not detail how you ensured the message was understood.

Despite probing we were unable to gain tangible evidence that you were able to meet the required competency for the role of a Call Handler. You will be eligible to reapply in six months and we will welcome a new application from you at that time.

Regarding, other suitable employment available at SECAmb you will need to apply via our website https://careers.secamb.nhs.uk/all-vacancies/. As each position within SECAmb has differing requirements, the assessment process will differ, so we are unable to use your existing application against any other vacancy you wish to apply for.

Kind regards

Shannon Bowie-Wooler

Dear Shirley Pennucci

I had requested Shannon Bowie-Wooler for a reconsideration of the negative outcome of my application-interview for the post of 111 Health Advisor but have not received any feedback, In this regard, kindly note the contents of the link that I posted last night: https://www.knowledgeassessmentanddissemination.com/forum/general-discussion/proceedings-extract-from-revolution-unfolding-in-the-united-kingdom

Just to recap, I like to think that I am jack of all trades and aspire to be master of all. After the career at the Natural Resources Institute I worked in ordinary jobs like in Petrol Stations and supermarkets to learn about the Retail trade and the business environment. I do not consider any job as being too lowly or menial as they teach you how to get on with all that life can throw at you and you come out stronger. I also therefore studied law by actively assessing what is needed to be part of the society and strictly within the provisions of the State of the United Kingdom. First-had experience cannot be beaten, as it is far superior to studying books which are useful but it does not tell you about humanity and social interactions whilst trying to better oneself and one's family.

One should improve lives, improve the State in the most peaceful manner without protesting, and this is attained by paying attention to details. That is how I have always been.

Mental Health is crucial to be able to cope with life's stresses. This is why I have had my own mental health assessed and studied it personally by consulting the Samaritans, Consultant Psychiatrists and psychotherapists, the last by paying them for their services. This personal experience will be invaluable in providing advice and support to callers to the NHS 111 Health Advisor Helpline.

I am never bored and I always engage myself in some mental activity and have written memoirs of my experiences so that others can benefit from the lessons that I have learnt. I always had a philanthropic approach to living, especially in my adult life and the employment at the Natural Resources Institute gave me the scope to develop myself through such work. As I mentioned at the interview, my philanthropy is not just specific to human beings although that is a major aspect of it, but as an advaitist in Hindu parlance, it extends to birds, bees, flowers, trees, seas, soils and all of the rest of Nature taking a holistic view of the environment. But if one cannot bring human beings into this frame of mind by gentle arguments and persuasion there is no point because we humans are the only species that devastate the environment towards decimation.

Mentoring newcomers and inexperienced people is very important for an institution like the National Health Service.

I hope you will take this statement into account and offer me any suitable employment if on reconsideration, you find me unsuitable for this role.

Yours sincerely
